Have you ever had an idea, or a plan? You wanted to work on it as soon as possible, right? But as soon as you knew that there are other people who are doing the same thing as you, and are BETTER than you are, you get discouraged. And then maybe you'll ask yourself this question:
"WHY?"
You wanna know why?
It's because you're a loser. But you're not born a loser. No one is. You may be a loser because of two things: either you grew up in a losing culture, or you simply programmed yourself to lose. Well then, the problem is with you! Why? Because you let this "losing" culture get to you. You let it direct you. Nothing's worse than thinking that you're a loser when in fact you can achieve more; you can reach greater heights. Don't worry though. You're not alone. I was once in the situation that you are. I felt so incompetent before. Let me tell you a story. There was this young boy, who learned to love basketball late, as he learned to play in Junior High School. At that point in time, among his friends, he was the most incompetent player. So he would only play if the other team is one player short, or if a player gets injured. So in short - he wasn't prioritized. Why? Because he was not good enough. From that point on, he kept on thinking that "maybe no one will pick me again today, maybe I really suck. Maybe this is not for me." What's worse? He brought that mindset into his whole lifestyle. In school for example. he felt that it was alright to get low scores because he thought he was "not good enough" He never learned to speak up and speak his mind because he thought that his opinions would never matter. That people wold think that "who's gonna listen to this loser?"

See what's wrong? He programmed himself to be a loser. He trained his mind to lose. I think this is the error that most of us commit unknowingly. We think that just because somebody is better than us, we're not good enough. Because of this, we beat ourselves. I now personally prefer losing because I got beaten by somebody who is better than me rather than losing because I beat myself.
But does the story stop there? NO. Eventually, the boy got tired of the losing mindset he has always applied to himself, and looked for good company. He hung out with people with drive, passion, and the WINNING ATTITUDE that he has never had. He changed his circle of influence, and little by little, he adapted the mindset that these people had. The "loser boy" before, had become a WINNER in his mind. He had passion and drive that no one has ever seen from him before. Not even he has seen it from himself before. Now, this boy has achieved things no one, even himself, has ever thought he would.
This boy truly inspired me. I have watched his journey from being a loser to being a winner in his own right. He has conquered some of his fears, and never got afraid to speak for himself anymore. He worked on himself every single day in all aspects of his life, even basketball. He still has a long way to go but his progress is undeniable.
I am the "loser boy" in the story That was my life story . I won't deny it. I'm not ashamed of it. At least, I have this story which I'm not ashamed of sharing with others. So, how did I conquer being a loser? EASY. STOP LOSING! Maybe a little too easy. So here's how. I simply shifted my mindset from being a loser to a winner. So ask me: "NJ, how do you do that?" That's simple as well. You don't have to climb a mountain or do backflips to do it. So here's what I do. Every day, I did some affirmations. I did it three times daily. This is a really simple thing to do, but it does BIG IMPACT on how you see everything. This little thing will go a really long way. So here's what I need you to do. I need you to EXPECT TO WIN.
"Really?"
Yes. Really.
Just do this every day, and you'll amaze yourself with how it changes you.
SO, REPEAT AFTER ME.
I AM READY TO BE A WINNER.
I EXPECT TO BE A WINNER.
I DESERVE TO BE A WINNER.
I AM DETERMINED TO BE A WINNER.
FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, ALL I DO IS WIN.
FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, ALL I KNOW IS WINNING.
LOSING STOPS HERE. WINNING STARTS NOW!
Do this daily. Please do this daily. For yourself. You can thank me later.
It's NJ signing out, until next Monday. EXPECT TO WIN!
